Are you working towards a world where all people have the opportunity to live a good life? Where the way we live, work and play contributes to the well-being and health of all people and our planet.

Changing how we talk about the big issues is one way we can create that future.

  • When our communications inspire hope, people understand change is possible
  • When our communications engage and connect to what matters, people listen.
  • When our communications surface more complex thinking, people’s decision-making deepens.
  • When our communications are motivating, people act.

_

In this series of participatory workshops that form our Narratives for Change Foundations 1 training, you'll learn how to more effectively inspire people to understand, support, and get involved in change using evidence led communication principles and the science of values.

About The Workshop

The Workshop is a unique research organisation in Aotearoa New Zealand. We are public narrative researchers and advisors. We draw on many disciplines to understand how public narratives influence people's thinking. We identify how people explain complex issues. We use scientific methods to find narrative strategies that deepen people’s thinking about those issues. We use storytelling tools to upskill people with complex knowledge to craft effective communications.

The Workshop is part of the Common Cause Alliance (https://valuesandframes.org/), an international network of people and organisations working on evidence-led communication for systems change.
